The combination of kale and Matcha tea is quite simply an explosion of health benefits.
Curly kale is an ancient variety of wild cabbage that is particularly rich in health benefits. It has very few calories and is packed with vitamins, minerals, omega 3 and fibre. It is also rich in additional antioxidants to those found in Matcha tea.
This green smoothie is a must for strengthening your immune system and tackling the cold winter days head-on!
For 4 glasses:
- The juice of 3 oranges
- 1 cup of curly kale
- 1 bowl of Matcha tea prepared cold with one dessert spoon of IRO Matcha tea for Cooking and 15 cl of cold water
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- 2 pears
- 2 kiwis
- 2 ice cubes
- Squeeze the 3 oranges.
- Put the kale and the juice in a blender and blend until there are no more bits.
- Add the ice cubes, the Matcha tea and the rest of the fruit and blend. It’s ready!
For easy blender cleaning, rinse with hot water, add a few drops of washing-up liquid and fill half full with hot water. Turn it on for a few seconds and then just give it a rinse!
